I really had the intention of writing a For the Love of Neil Gaiman post, but the more I sat down to write, the more awkward and gawky it became. Seriously, it was akin to walking up to your favorite celebrity to ask them the most charming, impressive, and rehearsed of questions, only to hear coming from your mouth, in dullard tones (with possibly a little spittle pooling), "I like you."
So, yes, Neil Gaiman, I like you. I like your writing. And while The Graveyard Book was brilliant and award winning, I can't wait for your next adult fiction novel. Which, according to Wikipedia will be out sometime in the future (very non-committal of them), along with a couple of nonfiction travel books and another YA book. All of which, I will probably run out and buy, because, as previously stated, I like you. (I can feel the spittle pooling as we speak)
So, in the spirit of Wikipedia, there will be a post on Neil Gaiman's books. at some point. soon-ish. one hopes.
Until then, if you haven't read him. Do.
For ease of use, I've set up a Neil Gaiman bookshelf over at Powell's - take a gander. If any look good buy them (no pressure) - or just write down the titles and go check them out from the library (that's how I initially stumbled onto him).
