Already Thinking About the 2012 Newbery Awards?

We're not even all the way through January and our friends over at 100 Scope Notes and HEAVY MEDAL: A MOCK NEWBERY BLOG are already talking about the 2012 Newbery contenders. Although the prospect of undertaking a new years' worth of books might be a bit overwhelming, the excitement over this list of upcoming reads is certainly palpable among the library forums.
