This week,
Overstock.com is offering books at 10% off the Amazon price. In, what I can only assume, an effort to undercut Overstock so much that they'll have to rethink such offers in the future, Amazon.com has started lowering their prices even more on certain books.
Shelf Awareness reports that "

And the Mountains Echoed by Khaled Hosseini, listed for $28.95 offered at $12.04, a 58% discount;
Lean In by Sheryl Sandberg, listed at $24.95, available for $9.09, a 64% discount; and
The Light in the Ruins by Chris Bohjalian, listed at $25.95, available for $13.81, a 53% discount."
