In the Post: Glen Duncan's By Blood We Live

This week's surprise doorstep find is Glen Duncan's newest novel By Blood We Live (out in February 2014).

From the book blurb:
"From the author of the bestsellers The Last Werewolf and Talulla Rising, the hair-raising conclusion to the saga that has galvanized readers' imaginations: an electrifying, startlingly erotic love story that gives us the final battle for survival between werewolves and  vampires, and one last incisive - brilliantly ironic - look at what it means to be, or to not be, human."
If you wanted to like the Twilight series, but didn't - you might dig these three books. Warning, though, these are NOT FOR KIDS - as Ron Charles of the Washington Post said (of The Last Werewolf), it's "[a] dark thriller that explodes with enough conspiracies, subterfuges and murders to raise your hackles. Not to mention such hot werewolf sex that you’ll be tempted to wander out under the full moon yourself next month.”
