I was almost hopeful when I saw this title pop up on the B&N Website with a price of $18! - only to click on the link and find that, in actuality, the title was only being offered through marketplace sellers for $92 - $950.
Seldom is the edition / printing mentioned. The price for these leather-bound books is driven more by desire than anything I can measure. There is no mention of the number of copies published. The price just seems to go up as soon as the title is no longer available at the stores or on the Website.

In 2013 I published a short list of some of the B&N Leatherbound Classics titles with their (then) listed value. Below is a chart showing how they compare now.
note: I discarded some of the highest prices if they weren't in line with the majority of collectible copies being listed. I compared prices from listings at Abebooks.com, Amazon.com and Barnesandnoble.com and listed the average, high-end price for these titles. In most cases, the printing was not mentioned (you'll still be able to find prices both higher and lower than those shown here, but this gives you a good average & apologies for misspellings).
And I know A LOT of people are looking for the complete list of published titles in the B&N Leatherbound Classics series. I've not found a definitive list, although there is a list over on Goodreads of 118 titles, compiled in 2012 (since anyone can add to it, however, I'm not convinced that it is limited to B&N Leatherbound Classics).
I've counted 132 titles (excluding the larger Audubon book), with a lot of repetition from one year to another. Here's the breakdown as far as I can tell (note: when there are duplicate titles, I compared the ISBN, publishing date and cover art to determine that they were not the same copy. Also note that similar titles may be available in the $20-$25 adult version as well as the $10-$12 children/ya versions):

I visited my B&N today and discovered that the Nikola Tesla: Experiments and Discoveries title is not actually a leather-bound classic. It is cloth bound. Additionally, I found a couple more editions not listed here. The additions include a second copy of Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book (with a green cover) and an additional copy of Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass (with a purple cover).
